BOTTOM UP

A reversible line for going down… and back up

Bottom Up is designed for a specific use case: enabling not only descent on the cable, but also the ascent of people along the line.

This configuration opens up new operational possibilities by introducing a controlled two-way logic, adapted to the site’s constraints and the experience being sought.

It is intended for projects that require a more versatile use of the line, with a technical approach tailored to the operating environment.

Why this solution?

On some sites, a one-way descent is not enough.
The need may involve returning to the upper station, operating the line in both directions, or creating an experience that combines ascent and descent on the same installation.
Bottom Up addresses this logic with a solution designed according to the line profile, the intended use, and the operational constraints.

What changes in operation

With a Bottom Up configuration, the line is no longer limited to a conventional gravity-based descent.
It becomes a more flexible operating tool, capable of integrating an ascent phase for people and therefore responding to a wider range of use scenarios.
This requires a specific design approach, but in return makes it possible to consider different user experiences and different operational setups.
